Two days loads! I believe a smile is more than words ... We arrived at the station
Pignataro Maggiore. We took the train on the morning of May 22 around six o'clock at least something I can not remember exactly, I do not think much accounts, there was me, Antonia, Antonio, Antonio, Filomena, Laura, Simone Taddeo, because the other Simon, Monaco, joined us off at Cassino in fine with us Sister Eva who accompanied us, and not just with his presence, I would say even spiritually.
In the train we were immersed in a mixture of emotions, thoughts and expectations. We played cards, jokes, we told various things, Sister Eva is told in his way of life first and then to become a nun.
I went down to the Termini station in Rome take the tickets and we walked to the bus stop not far from the station, took the bus after a middle way, where we arrived at the headquarters of the Sisters, omens, we started a beautiful experience, full of emotions, concerns and problems to solve in our being, our friendships, in fact the beginning of what I would say a journey to the foundations of our group and not only to Jesus Christ and the church of which we are a part. Entering
Father Antonio met, that we would meet again shortly after: that we enter and to leave him, "was the first experience for me there at the house of the Sisters," while the other group were already there. The time and place bags and other objects in the rooms that c 'assigned to the nuns, so I and Antonio in the same room and went on in the meeting room. We waited a little 'sitting and sitting comfortably on the chairs of the room, and in the meantime we have been waiting the arrival of Father Antonio, so around 10:30, sang the songs with libretto in hand and resumed Sister Marjetka us and we did photos. Meanwhile we were still all immersed in a mixture of emotions, joy, happiness, curiosity, anxiety, a bit of tiredness and express our opinions among ourselves and with the sisters. Father Antonio arrived, and there was prior knowledge, each of us stood before him, then later, two of the girls presented the group as he was born, according to what common sense was decided to create this group, the experience of two them into posters, in Togo, the adopted child from a distance and as the group grows. Then came Father Antonio, then sang the songs again. So we spent a morning of spirituality, the teachings of Father Antonio focused on our faith (an approach to the Spirit in us and in the Church because the world may have life in abundance) on clarity about different points analyzed, through videos and diagrams on a screen. Then the sisters gave each one a yellow card on which there were questions to answer, then gave us pens and time to begin to answer these. After this extension, there was a time when we relate to couples commenting, saying something more than if each one based on the completed form. At the end of this report were the reports and the conclusions that have been reached until the time came for lunch and all went down in the dining hall where we waited for the other sisters with whom we sat at the table. And here there were beautiful moments of sharing, we know better, Sisters and Father Anthony could know each other better in the chat even joking and laughing with joy. After lunch in their rooms each took the opportunity to rest for a while 'before the time of the visit to the Catacombs of San Callisto. We started with the van of nuns and two cars to the entrance of the catacombs, the ticket after we waited for our turn, and then descended conducted by the guide, "an elderly, good speaker would say, almost in a theatrical tone and manner to explain. " Became aware of many things that we knew, we were influenced by those narrow tunnels and cold. Before back fill it with questions that "good man" and then everyone walked up with a beautiful smile always growing curiosity and joy in our eyes. Father Antonio then celebrated Mass in the chapel of the catacombs India after passage of time, a little 'relaxation in one of the immense grasslands of the park catacomb complex. And here munching some chips, popcorn and drank coca cola, orange juice, fruit juice etc. ... Not to mention that we did a lot of pictures which shows the joy, the joy growing in us, after which we returned to the car and we drove back to the headquarters of the Sisters, on the way we stopped to visit the Church where there is a cast of footsteps of Christ, whose explanation of it on a marble slab talks about his encounter with Peter in that place before the apostle had destined for martyrdom. Once at home we had the time to be able to rest, wash, dress differently from the afternoon and then go to Trastevere for pizza together. We walked on foot, and that the walk to the place where there were several close restaurants and pizzerias in my opinion was one of the best moments of sharing this experience with sisters, watching the fall of the sun from the top of Trastevere where you can see the panorama of the city of Rome, and in fact could be seen in other houses and buildings, including the dome of St. Peter, we did several photos there. near the huge fountain and then we went to the place where we chose a pizzeria, and, here too, souvenir photos, The chatter among us, joking and smiling with joy. Come back to the office before going to bed-time dedication of the chapel for a time of worship and then after a good night we went to sleep because we had to get up early Sunday morning.
We woke up early, a bit 'sleepy, we went down to the dining room for breakfast and share and exchange thoughts and opinions about the morning that we spent. Then take the van and car tour around the Piazza San Pietro. It was a beautiful day and we had a nice p 'in line to enter, with tickets in hand where there was reported in the area where taking place in the Basilica to attend the celebration of Holy Mass on Pentecost came in marvel, persuaded amazed by the size of the interior, its decor and varied also noticed that many people were there with us, from different parts of the world.
took our places in the vicinity of the nave where the Pope would go with everything below (the video edited by Sister Marjetka has if it enters the Pope's right next to where we were photographed and cheered us.) Those holy words of the homily, and we all joyful: the Spirit of the Lord would say we invest so heavily that once out of our eyes "shone like the sun." What good times those of sharing faith with our brothers and sisters of different nationalities: Brazilian, Chilean, German, English, Chinese and many others ... Leaving the square we watched the wonderful parade of bands and young dancers from the gaudy costumes representatives of countries from which they came. We reached the car before returning home, we stopped to do other souvenir photos, especially in those moments when it was so much joy and happiness in your heart. At lunch we could not help but comment on the emotions in the Basilica, the joy, the smiles seen on the faces of other people as we watch with serenity and Christian fellowship in the celebration. Before leaving the room we were meeting for the final assessments for our opinions, our opinions on the two days spent, what all have seen and tried c'aveva given. After a snack we drove by taking the bus to get to Termini station. Catch the train and arrived in Pignataro Maggiore in the evening. In the train but did not comment, talk and talk again of all that was, including photographs and smiles jokingly. In conclusion, although only two days but intense and rich experiences and learn new things today that I hope are well settled at the base of our personal and spiritual growth in our missionary journey ...
